Xinlong Food

Let me first preface with a few minor things. 1/ The restaurant is VERY small. There's 3 tables so you might not have a place to sit. It can fit maybe 10 people at most in there. We were lucky that the 6 of us got a table. 2/ They do not speak any English, maybe 8 words. But the staff are super friendly even if it does get a little slow at times. 3/ Chili oil is not spicy at all. This is the only thing I would have to complain about. Now let's get on with what's actually important. The food is some of the best and authentic Chinese cuisine I've ever had. Their steamed soup dumpling is AMAZING and it's STUFFED with meat bursting with scalding and delicious juice that will wreck the inside of you mouth if you aren't careful. The pan fried buns were awesome, my son devoured them. Pickled cabbage soup with blood sausage was excellent and a huge portion for the price of $22. Steamed (pork, chives and shrimp) dumplings were the best, I could eat 20 of them. Everything was just top notch and our whole family was very pleased with the quality. The prices were very good and we will try and come back often to support them in the hopes that they can afford a larger space and spicier chili oil. Will definitely be back often.

Small family run restaurant. Specializing in dumplings, with frozen dumplings available as well. Food was excellent, best Xiao Long Bao I've had in GTA. Majority of dumpling options are steamed. Wontons in chili oil (+ Tahini) was also very enjoyable. Agree with another reviewer, the chili oil is not hot. People running the place were very welcoming and nice (very little/no English), and it felt like old school family restaurant with someone's little grandaughter hanging out on a Sunday evening :) Very much enjoyed eating here, will happily visit again. Not a huge menu (big enough) but we enjoyed everything we ordered (too much, so good!). Only a couple small tables, am guessing most of their business is takeout.

Another great kitchen specialized in buns and dumplings. It’s very tiny home kitchen kind of style with 3 tables inside only. We ordered: 1. Steamed pork buns 5/5 2. Steamed soup buns 5/5 3, pan fried dumplings 锅贴4/5 4. Seaweed 4/5 5. Shredded potatoes 5/5 Overall great quality of buns with reasonable price and good portion,especially compared to other similar places featuring buns ( mom’ pan fried buns , goubuli etc) however, this is a very small kitchen, they are more for takeouts
